Left: a Mar 2016 screenshot for a YouTube summary of the newly-published 10-volume print set of Hmolpedia (EoHT.info), then at the 4,050+ wiki page level. Right: in Aug 2020, Hmolpedia comprised 5,376 articles, which were migrated from the WikiFoundry platform (shutting down: 1 Jun 2021) and archived into this MediaWiki platform, in the form of a WikiSource 2020 version of Hmolpedia (Hmolpedia 2020). In Sep 2020, Hmolpedia.com, at second MediaWiki site, was launched to be the newly-written working editable edition of Hmolpedia.

In wikis, Hmolpedia 2020 (URL: EoHT.info), vs the new Hmolpedia edition (URL: Hmolpedia.com), refers to the Aug 2020 edition of Hmolpedia, written over a 12.7-year period, starting in Dec 2007, first via the WetPaint.com platform, which in 2013 became a WikiFoundry.com platform, which in 2020 announced it would be shutting down (shutdown day: 1 Jun 2021), culminating in 5,376 online articles, which have been archived into this MediaWiki site, in the form of 5,376 basic HTML webpages, to be employed as references.

Overview

In Sep 2020, Hmolpedia, then hosted at WikiFoundry.com, began to migrate into new MediaWiki platform, dividing itself into a new edition of Hmolpedia, found at the new URL Hmolpedia.com, and an archived edition (URL: EoHT.info). The gist of the migration, which was initiated when WikiFoundry gave indication that it might shut down in the future, is shown below:

A summary of the splitting of Hmolpedia into two wikis.

Archive | Access

The first method to find an Hmolpedia 2020 article is to Google search: "article name, eoht.info", which generally directs one to the now HTML archived version of the article. The second method, to find an article, is to

The first method to find an article archive article is to first copy paste the A page into your browser:

https://eoht.info/page/A

Then change the "A" to the name of the article desired; using "+" symbol between words, if it is a multi-world article; and also being sure to make the first letter of the article name capital letter (as the files are stored this way), as shown below:

WayBack

Articles can also be accessed via the Internet Archive, with the 28 Aug 2020 version being the last crawl before the switch to MediaWiki:

PDF

A single-file of the entire site, as one 14,683-page pdf, is available, which can be downloaded, for easy search usage (articles that were in the form of large tables or timelines, however, are not visible in the pdf). [1]

Hmolpedia 2016

The 2016 edition of Hmolpedia can be searched via the following means:

Printed hard-cover volumes of which also being available at LuLu.com.

Searching

Note, the "search box" of Hmolpedia 2020 (this wiki), upper right hand corner, is only connected to a handful of recently made wiki articles (see: all pages), which are stored in the ~/wiki/ folder. The 5,376 archived articles, conversely, are stored in a ~/page/ folder, and are NOT searchable via use of the search box of this wiki. They only way, presently, to search within the archived articles is either (a) via the Google search keys: "article name, eoht.info", or (b) download the single-file pdf and keyword search the file.

End matter
