Gibbs tombstone
The Willard Gibbs tombstone at Grove Street Cemetery in New Haven, Connecticut.
In science, Gibbs tombstone is the marker for the final resting place of American engineer Willard Gibbs (d. 1903), central founder of chemical thermodynamics, located at Grove Street Cemetery in New Haven, Connecticut. [1]

Gibbs is buried next to the grave of his father, Josiah Willard Gibbs, Sr., shown behind, to the left, in the photo; such as shown below:
