is called Gay-Lussac’s law and states that for a body of ideal gas, at constant particle count and volume, not too far from STP, the pressure of the gas will be equal to the product of a constant k and the temperature T of the gas.

The equation was introduced in 1802 by French chemist Joseph Gay-Lussac.
